Age Requirements

It is the county seat of Calvert County. == Geography == Prince Frederick is located in the center of Calvert County at 38°32′55″N 76°35′19″W (38.548720, −76.588748).According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.7 square miles (9.5 km2), of which 0.004 square miles (0.01 km2), or 0.11%, is water. === Climate === The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Prince Frederick has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps. == Demographics == As of the census of 2000, there were 1,432 people, 583 households, and 303 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 439.9 people per square mile (169.6/km2). There were 616 housing units at an average density of 189.2/sq mi (73.0/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 62.22% White, 33.80% African American, 0.07% Native American, 2.51% Asian, 0.56% from other races, and 0.84% from two or more races.
